Continued Connection Alumni Program

Continued Connection From Client to Alumni

At HCANA, connection doesn’t end when treatment does, it evolves. Amber, our dedicated HCANA Alumni Coordinator and CPRS, has partnered with our dedicated clinical staff to create an inclusive, community-driven Alumni Program that unites all three HCANA facilities.

Whether you began your journey at Asheville Detox, Knoxville Recovery, or Oasis Recovery, every alumni member has equal access to the same support, resources, and opportunities to stay engaged.

Our shared mission is simple: to help individuals become the best version of themselves, living life on life’s terms with clarity, purpose, and renewed strength. No matter where your path leads after treatment, you remain part of a growing community committed to healing together.

Knoxville Recovery Center Alumni Program

A Community Built on Connection & Purpose

The Alumni Program is founded on two core values deeply rooted in the Oasis Model: connection and purpose. These principles are central to long-term healing.

When we surround ourselves with a community that understands our experiences, the journey becomes lighter, more meaningful, and far less isolating.

Through authentic relationships and shared experiences, alumni gain:

  • Encouragement from people who understand the recovery journey
  • Strength through belonging
  • Motivation from positive influences and peer role models
  • A reminder that life in recovery is not about giving up joy — it’s about rediscovering it

Together, we continue growing, laughing, supporting, and learning as a community that uplifts every stage of recovery.

A Community That Stays Connected — Wherever You Are

Connection and purpose are often described as the opposite of addiction because they restore what isolation once took away. Our Alumni Program ensures that healing connection is always within reach.

Alumni have access to a variety of ways to stay engaged, supported, and involved:

  • Weekly and biweekly virtual meetings
  • Monthly in-person alumni events in Knoxville and Asheville
  • Private alumni social media groups for encouragement, shared stories, and real-time peer support

These continued touchpoints help alumni maintain momentum, accountability, and confidence. The community you build during treatment doesn’t disappear, it expands. Alumni support one another through wins, challenges, transitions, and everything in between.

These bonds remind us that we never have to walk this journey alone. Together, we’re breaking stigma and building a compassionate, judgment-free community where every alumni member belongs, feels supported, and has room to grow.

Consistent Support From a Community That Cares

Every alumni member has ongoing access to peers and to Amber, our dedicated Alumni Coordinator and Certified Peer Recovery Specialist. Her role centers on connection, encouragement, and providing a safe space where alumni can reach out anytime for guidance or support.
